It is essential that drivers carry out a daily walk around check of their vehicle and report and record any defect or defects that they find. As part of your O licence obligations you are required to ensure the roadworthiness of your vehicles and driver vehicle checks are an essential part of these requirements. Failure to spot vehicle defects could potentially impact on your Operator Licence Risk Score and result in a driver receiving a Graduated Fixed Penalty.
