The Bowmonk TrailerCheck replicates the role of a truck, providing power to a trailer’s electrical systems, making it an ideal choice when no tractor unit is available
Fig. 1 (attached) shows, connectivity is via the trailer headboard using the appropriate leads, all of which are supplied as standard with the TrailerCheck unit.
Once connected, simply switch the TrailerCheck unit on and use the toggle switches to turn each trailer light on or off as required. Also, included is a single man auto light test facility, allowing the tester to switch on the trailer lights in a pre-set order for approximately 10 seconds each, allowing time to check each light. The auto light test takes around 1 minute to complete. The included ISO 7638 lead will allow the trailer’s ABS circuitry to be checked for continuity. Should there be a fault within the ABS system the ABS warning light on the TrailerCheck fascia panel will come on. Hi and Lo speed CAN lines can also be checked.
