The DigiDL-H is the latest in remote downloading, allowing driver card and vehicle unit (VU) data to be downloaded direct from your vehicles, removing the need to collect Vehicle Unit and Driver Card Tachograph data manually.

Building on the success of more than 10 years of the DigiDL, The ‘H’ stands for hub- a device that automates driver card and vehicle unit download, whilst also generating its own secure local network to collect data from additional devices and sensors around the vehicle. 

The DigiDL-H automatically downloads both the driver card and vehicle unit data via a GPRS SIM card, helping you stay compliant. 

Now with more efficient and reliable connection over Wi-Fi, 4G and Bluetooth, 20x faster processing and improved data encryption.

How remote downloading works

Remote download allows you to hold the Company Card(s) in your office. The card is placed permanently in a card reader on any PC which has a connection to the Internet or local network (if it is a totally custom solution).

The digiDL-H makes a connection via GPRS to the Internet and in turn to your Company Card(s) via your service provider or your own network. The process authenticates as if the Company Card were in the vehicle. digiDL-H can now perform a download and passes the file(s) to our platform via the GPRS network.
