VDO’s new on screen Simulator covers 5 different models of digital tachograph; DTCO 1.4, 2.0/2.1, 2.2, 3.0 and 4.0. The simulator software is designed for Drivers, Driver Trainers and Fleet Managers and is a novel training aid which encourages learning through practical hands-on-experience.
Now compatible with the new Smart Tachograph.
Access is provided via a licence, providing access to an online platform, this innovative and intuitive interactive product simulates every key feature of the VDO digital tachographs. The software utilises high-end graphics throughout giving detailed and clear images in a popular and cost effective training programme.
1, 5 or 10 licences are available to purchase. Each licence is assigned to an email address and is valid for a year upon intial purchase.
The software simulates various functions of digital tachographs including:
Inputting manual entries DTCO 1.4, 2.0/2.1, 2.2, 3.0 and 4.0
Driver card log-in and log-off procedures
New VDO Counter
Driver and Vehicle unit printouts
Use of Company Card to lock in and lock out data
Automatic updates
Included within the simulator is access to the Driver/Company User Manual for the relevant model (via HELP). There is also the ability to advance time eg. to show Driving Time Warnings, and to display what Activities have been input (to check against the displays).
