X-Wire for all light and heavy commercial vehicles- with two components- one for the tractor part of the HGV and one for the trailer part of the HGV. Available in two options- 12v for light commercials and 24v for heavy trucks.
X-wire allows sensors and/or a camera to communicate with an in-cab display and/or monitor by sending a coded signal through a vehicle's existing wiring loom.
This overcomes the need to run cables from the rear of the trailer to the front of the vehicle. It also means that, when installed across a whole fleet, any tractor unit can automatically connect to any trailer, offering full rear blind spot detection.
The Front and Rear X-Wire modules know when the trailer is attached by communicating via the existing vehicle wiring, automatically connected the camera and/or sensors with the monitor and/or display in the cab.
With reduced fitting time, less time spent off the road, and avoiding frequent accidents, this unique X-Wire technology is something no other company can offer and will result in huge savings for fleets and operators, both in the short and long-term.
